Cali reasearching all our cut flower plants, and figuring out the best places to plant them in the farm based on sun, water needs, and size. She’s on track to be this summer’s master farmer. : )
Some sketches of potential label logos they kids came up with.

This is a self-portrait (sort of) with our lemon cucumber starters in the window. It’s still too damp to plant them out without risk of them rotting away, so we’re holding onto them for the moment.

Farmer’s Market Signs! The paint is actually chalkboard paint, tinted peapod green (Mia’s fav color). We’ll have one large one that we’ll use for pricing and produce listing, and this smaller one that will have the ‘Farmer’s” logo on it. SO excited.

We’re worried that our peas, beans and greens may not be ready by the first market day (because of the endless rain we’re having) so we invested in some large cut flower bushes, like tickseed, calla lily, shasta daisy, cosmos and salvia. At least this way we’ll have flowers and herbs for our first market day in July.
