Spring Eco-Retreat

Every Spring we take the farmers to Astoria for a weekend. During that weekend we spend time on Oregon/Washington history, civic engagement, enviromental education and life skills (like knowing how to make a fire, or s’mores). Usually we end up at the Peter Iredale because, who doesn’t love clambering all over a shipwreck?

We visited the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center – which was fantastic. We also hiked to the Lighthouse at Cape Disappointment – even for the folks that had a tough time getting up the hill, it seemed that once they got up there it was well worth it.
