Financial Beginnings offers free Community Drop-In financial education classes throughout the year. These live, online sessions focus on practical, real-life money topics and are designed for learners at any stage. Community organizations are encouraged to share this calendar directly with clients and participants.

February 17 Tax Preparation and Planning Learn how to gather tax documents and understand common tax credits and deductions so you feel prepared before filing.

Our class will focus on career and training options in manufacturing and will take place in person. This 3-hour introductory class is offered monthly, with sessions rotating between OC42, Willow Creek, and online. Participants explore careers in clean technology, including fleet and facility maintenance pathways.
Details: SHIFT (Sustainable HVAC, Infrastructure, and Fleet Technology) is a partnership between the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF), Bureau of Fleet and Facilities (BFF), PCC Foundation, and Portland Community College. The program provides low-barrier scholarship opportunities for under-resourced individuals pursuing training in high-demand trades.
