About Bridge to Construction: Bridge is a construction pre-apprenticeship program designed to support high school graduates ages 18-26 living in Multnomah or Washington County with pursuing a living-wage career in the construction trades through hands-on training and individualized career coaching. Throughout the program, students earn industry-recognized certifications and get direct/preferred entry into apprenticeship/trades positions. Students received a stipend of up to $15 per hour for full participation over the 7-9 week training program.

Criminal Record & Eviction Record Expungement Clinic

- Legal Aid Services of Oregon is partnering with Multnomah County Circuit Court Legal Resource Center and the Multnomah Bar Association on a criminal and eviction expungement clinic. The clinic will be held at the Multnomah County Legal Resource Center (Central Courthouse 1200 SW 1st Ave., Room 02307)
Volunteer attorneys trained by Legal Aid will review people’s criminal records, assess eligibility, and complete all necessary forms to expunge/seal eligible records. Legal Aid will assist people with completing the required Oregon State Police fingerprint cards and will pay the $33 background check fee for those who cannot afford the fee. Anyone interested in attending the clinic, should call Legal Aid at 503.224.4086 to sign up. they are unable to accept walk-ins

CareerWork$ Medical is a no-cost, 8-week training that prepares participants for entry level, non-clinical positions within the healthcare industry. Training is hybrid (in-person and Zoom) with classes 3 days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9am - 2pm. At the conclusion of the program, there will be a graduation and an exclusive hiring event attended by employer-partners like Planned Parenthood, Legacy Health, Providence, Kaiser-Permanente and OHSU.
