WorkSource, Worksystems, and partners are collaborating to host an early learning career fair on Wednesday, June 4th, 11 am- 3 pm at the PCC Opportunity Center in NE Portland. We would love the support of our aligned partner network to spread the word to job seekers and career changers interested in a career in early learning and care. Attached is our flyer. Attendees can expect to meet potential employers such as Oregon Child Development Coalition, local Head Starts, and Preschool for All early learning and child care programs. Local training providers, colleges, and universities will also be present to share about programs leading to a variety of careers in Early Childhood. As a reminder, scholarship funds and support services are available via WorkSource for people interested in pursuing education and careers in the field.

Working with a group of peers, you will self-identify your strengths and abilities and learn how to translate those into a new or refined career path. Begin the process of learning how to set short and longterm career goals and how to develop concrete strategies for meeting these goals. Information will also be provided on community resources available to you
